Goldberg studied at Mir Yeshiva and holds a degree in business administration and finance from the Jerusalem College of Technology. He worked at KPMG in Tel Aviv before serving in the IDF Budget Division from April 2023 to September 2024. He helped establish the Hasmonean Brigade from September 2024 to December 2025.
