Who they are
Abukrat, known as Itzik, is a farmer at Moshav Tzelafon in the Judean foothills, where he has chaired the cooperative association's committee for three terms. The party presents him as the voice of farmers and of settlement on its list. He was formerly head of field operations for the Tzomet party, and leads a campaign by farmers for regularising their land holdings with the Israel Land Authority and for the ability to earn a decent living from the land.
