Who they are
Dromi runs a lone farm in the Negev. In January 2007 he shot two intruders on the farm, killing one, and in 2009 the Beersheba District Court acquitted him of manslaughter and assault, convicting him only of holding his late father's unlicensed rifle. The public campaign around his case produced the 2008 amendment to the Penal Law known as the Dromi Law, which shields people who use force against intruders on their homes, businesses and farms. He ran for the Knesset in 2019 on a list that failed to cross the threshold. The party's platform describes him as a man of spirit and a shepherd.
