Moshe Binyamin Peretz has spent his career in education management in Netivot, running a boarding school and a vocational college and heading the municipality's education administration. He sits on the city council and holds a deputy mayor's title. He ran for mayor against Yehiel Zohar in 2018 and lost with 36 per cent of the vote.
