Who they are
Ohana was born in Yeruham on 17 March 1984 to Moroccan-born parents. She commanded a team at the Havat HaShomer base, read organisational sociology at Emek Yezreel College and took a master's in public policy at IDC Herzliya. She joined the Yeruham council in 2010 as deputy head, then headed it from 2018 to 2024, the first woman to do so. She has run the Otzrot HaGalil fund since July 2024.
