Molnar served as an IDF officer and read social sciences with a specialism in public policy. She sits on the Netanya city council, where she was deputy mayor and acting mayor, and stood for mayor at the last municipal election with about 27% of the vote. She now chairs the council's audit committee and leads its opposition, and has run Yashar's Netanya headquarters since August 2026.
